If I lack the education requirements, but have many years of experience working in an MPA, can I still be accepted into the Programme?
No. Careful thought has been given to the combined education and experience requirements to ensure those accepted into the Programme are best prepared to successfully complete it and be awarded certification.

If I cannot attend the full Assessment Event, can I still participate and receive my certification?
No. Participants must successfully complete the entire Assessment Event, the examination, and the case study to receive certification. The Assessment Event is an important piece of strengthening a regional network of professionals and sharing the latest knowledge and experience related to improving MPA performance.

I missed the application deadline for the course I wanted to take. When will the next one be offered and where?
The course calendar is updated quarterly. Check this website for those changes. Or, write to the WIO-COMPAS Secretariat (secretary@wiomsa.org) to request notification by email when the specific course you are looking for is being offered again.

Can I pay my fees in installments?
No. All Programme-related payments are due in advance.

Are there a maximum number of individuals enrolled in any one course?
Yes, the courses are limited to a specific ratio of assessors to candidates. This helps to ensure a high quality programme, detailed interaction between the assessor and candidates as well as providing peers the opportunity to interact in a setting different from traditional conferences and training classes.
